Family SOS is deeply grateful for the incredible generosity of our community. Thanks to your support, we are able to continue providing vital programs and resources for children, youth, and families across HRM.

At this time, we are accepting donations that directly support our programs and participants. Thank you for your understanding and continued kindness toward the Family SOS team and the families we serve.

Year-Round Accepted Donations

• Food items — especially fruits, vegetables, bread, milk, eggs, and butter

• School snacks

• Baby essentials — diapers, pull-ups, wipes, and formula

• Hygiene products

• New and unused craft or stationery supplies

• Gift cards (President’s Choice, Sobeys, Walmart, Lawtons)

• New toys and books

• Monetary donations

Seasonally Accepted Donations

• Winter gear (new or gently used hats, mittens, scarves)

• School supplies

• Children’s toys and books

• Seeds and transplants for our community gardens
